The checkbox only matters when at least one side is Genesis. On: that seat explores and learns from these games (self-play training if both sides are Genesis, or learning directly against a fixed opponent if only one side is). Off: Genesis plays that seat frozen, same as any other fixed AI. Neither side Genesis is always a plain comparison.
